| Art Gallery Aboriginal

Dennis is a local indigenous artist of the Atherton Tablelands, and a descendant of the Mbabaram, Yidinjii  and Kuku Thaypan aboriginal groups in Far North Queensland. Dennis did most of his schooling in Ravenshoe, and lived in the bush in the Silver Valley area.

He began painting as a hobby because he felt it gave him a sense of peace. Using all colours his love for painting fish inspires him to paint the different types of fish and native animals in their natural surroundings from Far North Queensland.

Dennis's enthusiasm for attention and detail can be seen throughout all his paintings in which he incorporates the fine lines and dots which fill the entire canvas.
