Magarra Gallery is hosting key 2009 Naidoc week events such as Art & History display and the welcome opening ceremony. The Elder's nurturing youth workshops held over 2 days. Indigenous Film night, Concert and NAIDOC Dinner and Indigenous Community Awards.

The Indigenous Markets Cairns - 04th to 30th October 2009

Magarra Gallery participated in the Indigenous Night Markets held on the Cairns Esplanade, which featured local indigenous performers from all around the Cairns region, local art & craft stalls 

Dept of Environment & Natural Resources NAIDOC Day Cairns - 10th August 2009

Magarra Gallery exhibited at the Dept of Environment & Natural Resources in Cairns for their NAIDOC day celebrations.

Tropical Wave Festival Cairns- 22nd August 2009 

Magarra Gallery participated in the Tropical Wave Festival (Multicultural stalls) held on Cairns Esplanade, as part of Festival Cairns.
